The
Artist Mark Kemp Bayless, has for the last twenty plus years pursued his interest in the arts while working fulltime in various occupations, obtaining a college degree, creating and displaying his art, and rearing a family. He has had a varied professional background which includes architectural design, building construction, stained glass studio owner, interior designer, artist and environmental consultant. In the field of art, he has worked in various mediums including stained glass, painting, print making, ceramics, wood carving, wood sculpture, and stone and steel sculpture. His work is presently in or has been displayed in over twenty-five art galleries and shops in Washington, California, Nevada, Utah, New Mexico, and Arizona. He has installed a large stone and steel sculpture as part of the city of Tempe Art in Public Spaces Program. He is self-employed as an environmental consultant and an artist. He works on private commissions and also sells his artwork in various gift stores and galleries. |
